Free Purple Ribbon
Much like the pink ribbon has come to symbolize the fight against breast cancer, the Drug Policy Alliance Network hopes that the purple ribbon symbol will mean the fight against drug overdose prevention. The DPA Network fights to roll back the excesses of the drug war, block new, harmful initiatives, and promote sensible drug policy reforms. They believe that the prohibition of drugs has cost our country immeasurably in the number of people incarcerated, those who have medical issues and cannot get adequate pain relievers, and that there is a link to terrorism.
